DEED. Proprietors. &c. to M.P. Brasee. v.p118

Know all Men by these Presents -- That the proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, a corporation established by law in the county of Middlesex in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In Consideration of five hundred dollars to them paid by Morton P. Brasee of Cambridge in said Middlesex. Housewright the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby remise, release and forever Quit=claim into the said Morton P. Brasee his heirs and assigned all our right title, and interest and estate in and to a certain parcel of land situated in the southeasterly part of Watertown in said Middlesex with a dwelling house, and other buildings thereon, containing by survey nineteen acres and thirty five rods be the same more or less bounded southwesterly by Charles River about six hundred and seventeen feet. Westerly by land of the heirs of Nathaniel Stone from said river to a road three hundred and seventy six feet Northerly by said road about four hundred and fifty feet to a corner near the house, then Westerly again by a way or continuation of said road along the easterly side of Mount Auburn Cemetery, nine hundred and sixty six feet; then Northerly by the heirs of Cornelius Stone two hundred and thirteen feet in a straight line Easterly also by land of said heirs in nearly a straight line nine hundred and fifty feet to the edge of the salt marsh at a post, then

and seventeen feet - Westerly by land of the heirs of Nathaniel Stone from said river to a road, three hundred and seventy six feet: Northerly by said road about four hundred and fifty feet to a corner near the house, then westerly again by a way or continuation of said road along the Easterly side of Mount Auburn Cemetery nine hundred and sixty six feet, then northerly by the heirs of Cornelius Stone two hundred and thirteen feet in a straight line: Easterly also by land of said heirs in nearly a straight line nine hundred and fifty feet to the edge of the salt marsh at a post: Then SouthEasterly by a slightly bending line at the junction of the upland and the marsh and by land of said heirs of Cornelius Stone about six hundred and seventy one feet to a stake, then Easterly by said heirs' land and a straight line across said marsh to a stake at the river one hundred and four feet: Said parcel of land, being that parcel of the estate of the late Moses Stone deceased, lying south east of the road and way aforesaid which was set off to his widow for her his dower and occupied as such by her until her death - Together with a right of way in over and upon a strip of land belonging to the said Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn and extending from the main road (which lies in front of the Cemetaery) to Watertown _ to the the back or southerly line of said Cemetery bound on the easterly side in part on land of one Coolidge, and in part on land herein

Know all men by these Presents That The Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn, a Corporation Established by law in the county of Middlesex and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in Consideration of ten dollars to them paid by William P. Winchester of Boston in the County of Suffolk and Commonwealth aforesaid, merchant, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Winchester a certain parcel of land situated in the Southeasterly part of Watertown in said Middlesex, Containing by survey nineteen acres and thirty five rods be the same more or less, bounded southwesterly by Charles River about six hundred and seventeen feet _ Westerly by land now or formerly of the heirs of Nathaniel Stone from said river to a road three hundred and seventy six feet - northerly by said road about four hundred and fifty feet to a corner near a dwelling house standing on the premises: thence westerly again by a way or continuation of said road along the easterly side of Mount Auburn Cemetery nine hundred and sixty six feet _ thence northerly by land now or formerly of the heirs of Cornelius Stone two hundred and

Title of George W. Brimmer to the Sweet Auburn Estate.

Moses Stone owned the estate more than twenty years before his death prior to 1803.

His Estate was settled by Aaron Learned as Admr. Admn Bond dated

Moses Stone's farm at Sweet Auburn was divided as follows: 3 lots were set off to the Widow as dower, and the residue assigned to two of his sons, Moses & Cornelius, they paying the other heirs (9 in all) $517.33c each. - Receipts of the heirs, on file in the Probate office, Middlesex.

===Middlesex Regy. of Deeds, Lib. 171. 80. .===

Moses Stone to Cornelius Stone.

A quitclaim of all his "right, interest and estate" in the farm at Sweet Auburn - "and it is the intention to release the 2/3 ds of said farm, assigned to me and said Cornelius by the Judge of Probate."

Cornelius Stone to Jane, Wife of Asaph Stone. Conveys 150 acres, bounded Sy & Ey on Charles River, then on a boundary line between Cambridge & Watertown, Ny on Elb. Gerry, Thos Lee & Jonas Wyeth, Wy on David Stone, Joshua Coolidge, and Nathl Stone (excepting the dower assigned to the widow of the late Moses Stone). being all the estate assigned to Moses & Cornelius Stone.

Cornelius Stone died in 18 The Certificate of the Reg. of Prob. for Middlesex is as follows.

"Middlesex. ss. In Probate Office. ."

It appears by the Records & files in this office that on the . Nath. Stone of Watertown, in said County was duly appointed Administrator of the Goods & Estate of Cornelius Stone late of the same Watertown, Yeoman, deceased, and gave a Bond acceptable to the Judge for said trust. - On the following returned Inventory & made oath to the same; at the same Court petitions for allowance to the Widow, & obtained the same, being $500. - On made affidavit of notice on settled acct. with Judge of Prob. all persons interested having certified their assent. At the same Court obtained license to sell so much of the Real Estate as would raise the sum of $3349.39ct, besides the sum of $30 - for incidental charges - filed bond and made oath."
