Lorraine

December 20

1964. Sun. To church & with Hugh & Lorraine to Waterloo. Tree & some gifts, lovely dinner. Very good trip.

1965. Mon. Cold. D. finished proof & went home. Feel miserable with cough.

1966. Tues. Snowing hard. Anne to dentist. Took care of Mary & Bay. Sewed.

1967. Wed. Hemmed dresses, Anne & Mary. To Lorraine's, babysat & Lorraine's birthday dinner. Lovely time. Mild.

1968. Fri. 8 a.m. train to Waterloo. Ian & Mary met me. Got lunch. Anne back at 4. Saw TV movie - "Anatomy of a Murder".

December 21

1964. Mon. Snowing. Dountoun & to bank. Heard TV "To Tell the Truth" for Anne. Mild & melting. Lorraine called up. Many cards.

1965. Tues. Sorted papers & nursed my cold. Many cards.

1966. Wed. sunny. Went for Bay & Hugh at noon. To stores. Finished Anne's skirt.

1967. Thu. mild. Typed & wrote letters. Donald came. Made curry dinner. We went to Hugh's. rain.

1968. Sat. all shopped. Boys & I cut out & baked cookies. Edna [Stack?] came for tea, very good time. to library.

December 22

1964. Tues. Mild. Shopped. Helen called up. Called Lorraine. To Waterloo - Anne & boys met me. A. & Ian to badminton.

1965. Wed. Read & knitted & steamed myself. To Waterloo on 5:55. Great crowd. All met me.

1966. Thu. Snowing hard. A. at dentist - took care of Mary. Anne working hard on thesis. Stanton for dinner.

1967. Fri. Colder. D wrote cards & letters & we talked. He left at noon. To [literary?] party at Gray's. saw Charlie Bruce, Fryes etc.

1968. Sun. to church - Xmas music. Snowing. Anne & Ian to badminton. [Unclear] and Goods in for tea. [Unclear] came & we saw Australian slides.

1964. Wed. Took Bay to store & library. Very mild. Hugh at school. Played with boys

1965. Thu. Made cranberry sauce. Anne shopped. Rain. Ian out for lunch & dinner.

1966. Fri. Kept Mary & Hugh while others shopped. Made 2 mince pies. Wrapped gifts

1967. Sat. Cold. Shopped. Typed a little. Baked big mince pie. Radio & reading Gore Vidal's "Julian".

1968. Mon. Anne to Guelph. Cold & windy. Knitted mittens. Anne took children skating.

December 24

1964. Thu. Baked mince pies & cookies. Raining hard. Wrapped gifts.

1965. Fri. Made mince pie & cookie dough. Rain. Got Bay from school. Bathed Mary.

1966. Sat. Celebrated Christmas. Lovely time. Many gifts. Anne & I working on Zodiac puzzle. I left for home & to Hugh's

1967. Sun. To church. Saw Ruth Reed. Snowing a little. Hugh & all called for me. Talked.

1968. Tues. Very cold & heavy snow. All shopped. Baked 2 mince pies. Rest skating. Saw marvelous Apollo 8 moon pictures
