January 1

1964. Wed. Heavy snow - Hugh & Lorraine couldn't come. Took boys around park. Lighted Xmas tree fell on Bay. A full day. Hoarfrost on trees in park

1965. Fri. Dull & bare weather. Boys' colds better. Talked with Donald. I came back with him & found Mary's pkg. & letter.

1966. Sat. A lovely New Years Day. Boys played & went for a walk. Cold & clear. Fed & bathed dear little Mary.

1967. Sun. Donald drove me to church. He to Martin's & I to Hugh's & hemmed Jennifer's curtains. D. came for turkey dinner. Showed more pictures.

1968. Mon. 5 deg. Donald packed - left. Sunny tho cold. Wrote letters, read & knitted. Lorraine called up.

1964. Thu. Very deep snow. Hugh & I followed snow plow. Mary D. took Hugh a walk.

1965. Sat. Shopped. Wrote letters. Unpacked. Reading & sorting cards. "Marriage of Figaro" on radio.

1966. Sun. Cold & sleety rain. Washed & packed. Great croud at train. Sleet & ice here. Opened mail. Helen called up.

1967. Mon. Mild. Helped Donald pack & he left. Anne called up - back from Bermuda. Vacuumed & cleaned.

1968. Tues. Snowing. Typed on revision. Washed clothes & bedroom curtains. Dell Kemp called up. Radio & knitted. Cards from Cates children.

1964. Fri. Letters from Anne. She & Ian suddenly returned, very brown. Took walk with children. Mild. Talked & talked.

1965. Sun. Heard "Marriage of Figaro" on radio. Reading "Toronto - No Mean City". To church.

1966. Mon. Milder, writing letters. Dusted house, typed mining history article. Got food & paper.

1967. Tues. Had my hair done. To library & to laundry, very mild. Reading "The Lonesome Crowd".

1968. Wed. Snowing. Lorraine called up. Typed 2 chapters of revision. To store & to get paper.

1964. Sat. Ian & I shopped with Hugh. Snowing. [Deables?] came for dinner. Took walk all round park, boys on sleigh. Cold & windy. A. & I. out.

1965. Mon. To church. Helen came in evening, talked & looked at TV news. To Lorraine's to see Anne on TV on giraffes.

1966. Tues. Had my hair done. Mild & bright. Wrote letters. To bank & library.

1967. Wed. Mild & fine. Downtown to shop. Washed clothes. Fred & Dorothy called up.

1968. Thu. Snowing. Lorraine & Della called up. To library & bank. To Hugh's for dinner & babysat. Very cold. Letter from Anne.
