DECEMBER 27 19 I went to Univ. library. Philip here all day, boys playing trains.

19 Fri. Children playing chess. Mary had girls in to play games. I went to E.K. Brown's. Calaghans there. Very interesting. Rain.

19 Mild. Shopped on Yonge St. Harold home for tea. H. & I to Creightons for supper. Lovely time.

19 Sun. McPhersons, Coats etc here for tea & Isabel Roberts[?] Mary, Anne & I to candlelig[?] service. H. & I to Whiteley's. heavy rain.

19 Washed. Went to Loblaws with Hugh. Mild, raw & wet. Wrote letters.

DECEMBER 28

Thu. 19 Very cold. Children & I went to see "Gulliver's Travels" at Uptown. I went to Luella's for tea. Read in evening.

Sat. 19 Rain. Went to bank & shopping. Peggy Brown & I to Pratts' reception. Mary E. reading Dr. Dolittle aloud.

Sun. 19 Girls & I to church. Heard symphony & read. Heard Jack Benny. Harold left for N.Y.

19 Mon. Cleaned house. Mary, Hugh, A. & I to "Bambi." Lovely. H. home for tea. Wrote letters.

19 Tues. Donald & I to Loblaws. Watched girls skate at B.S.S. Don Creighton came over.

DECEMBER 29

Fri. 19 a little snow. Joan Van Nest & Philip here for lunch & Philip for supper. Children skating.

19 Raining. Harold came from N.Y. at noon. Played games & read to children.

19 Hall papered. Went to ear specialist. Party for Mrs. Richardson & twins 12 girls here.

19 All Creightons here for tea. Raining & dull Washed..

19 Mary & I to Loblaws. Baked. Children skating on rink in yard. M. & D's party - 16 people - very good.

39-43 DECEMBER 30

Sat. 19 Went to Yonge St. with Mary, shopping. Boys skiing. Harold came home. Tired. Snowing.

Mon. 19 Went shopping. Rain. Alan & children playing in railway. Reading "Vanity Fair."

Tues. 19 children skating. & girls to movies. Hugh to Philips. I went to Logans for lunch, looked at house & to Press club. Xmas dinner. Very good time.

19 Wed. Baked. 6 girls here for lunch. Snow children out. Miss Collins & 12 piano pupils here in evening.

19 Thu. Ironed. To bank & library with Mary & to Doris Taylor's for tea. children skating.

DECEMBER 31

Sun. 19 Mary & I went to church. Boys went to see trains at Mac[Gregors?]. Alec here for tea. Very cold. Harold & I saw New Year in.

19 D. & I went to Yonge St. Colder. H. at home, took children a walk. Donald Masters here for tea. H. & I saw New Year. in.

19 Harold came back from N.Y. sick. Waited on him Mary out to party. Saw New Year in by myself.

19 Went to [Yonge - crossed out] Loblaws with Doris. H, H, M. & I to see Jack Benny in "George W. Slept here". D. to Taylors Alec Brady came over & we saw New Year in.

X 19 Mary & I to Loblaws, Bright & cold. Children skating. H. home for tea Girls & I playing games.
