DECEMBER 12

19 Went to Mr. Hamilton's & took notes on his recollections Letter from Dad.

19 Went shopping & to U.A.W.C. carols & Mrs. Crowther spoke. Prof. Drummond here for dinner.

Fri. 19 Went to L.P.C.I. choir concert & left in middle to hear Hugh's recital at J.R.R. Florence Roberts & I went downtown.

19 Shopped at Loblaws. Cleaned house. Sam & I to lunch with Anne Bezanson & Harold. Dinner with them at Alexandra Palace.

19 Sun. Snowing. Heard Symphony. Wrote letters. Heard Jack Benny & Fred Allen. Cold.

DECEMBER 13

19 mended & darned. addressed Xmas cards.

Fri 19 cold. Got Hugh's glasses fixed, got wool etc. Boys at art gallery. Wrote Xmas cards.

19 Went shopping. Hugh went to party, Anne to music. Hugh delivered cookies for Cubs.

Sun. x 19 Miss Bezanson here for dinner. Creightons & Saunders for tea. Miss B & Saunders for supper. Interesting day.

19 Shopped. Took mss. to Collins. new ed. of Econ Hist. came out. Collins sent $750 - advance royalties

DECEMBER 14

Thu. 19 Went to W.U.A.C meeting carols. got wool for socks.

Sat. 19 Boys went shopping to Wool. Cold. Anne went with Mary to music. Harold home for tea. Hugh went to F. Haywood's party.

19 Sun. Helleiners & Logans here for tea. Girls & I to church. Harold & I to J.M. Macdonnel's to see Jake Viner.

19 Washed. Went to Luella for lunch, Mrs. Coats there. With Anne, Hugh, Harold & Miss Bezanson to Xmas party at Women's Union.

19 Tues. Went down & got figure skates for Anne for Xmas. Very crowded. H. home for tea. Peggy Brown called up

DECEMBER 15

Fri. 19 Luella came for tea. She & I went to see Garbo in "Ninotchka". very good.

19 Girls went to church, I did work. Addressed Xmas cards. Read to children.

19 Went downtown & got evening dress, to Luella's & she & I looked at houses with agent.

19 Shopped & cleaned Snowing.

19 Wed. Cleaned & ironed. To school for Hugh's physical exam & to Red Cross for wool. Very cold.

DECEMBER 16

Sat. 19 Took Hugh to party & Anne to her music lesson. mild & damp.

Mon. 19 Made sandwiches for Anne's party & called for her. Rain & ice. Mary's Xmas concert at L.P.C.I Lovely.

19 Tues. Had my hair done. Got estimate on decorating. Went to Heliconian to hear Sandwell & took money. Mild.

19 Wed. Mended & cleaned. Wrote Xmas letters & cards. Anne at Brownies.

19 Thurs. Shopped & to bank. H & S to dinner "Our club" at Granite club. Cornish spoke on India.
