us a visit - I hear of you almost
every where but here. I hope you are not
waiting for a formal invitation to visit
us - It is a long time since you were
here - and we should all be delighted to
have a visit from yourself - & sisters -

commencing your Snakes business again?
Charly is trying to be farmer, but it is hard
work. The season has been bad. fruits have
also failed. and every thing looks discouraging
to me, who always looks on the dark side -
We have had a large family of workmen
all Summer - which has made a great
deal of work - & care for me - but we
have now sent most of them off - and
I hope for a quiet winter.

My Father - has amused himself through
the Summer – with his bees - & flowers. He
returned two weeks since - from a trip to
