We are so quiet I have no particular news. Harriet has been very poorly but is getting well again now and [indecipherable] is as well as possible, sleeps all the long night through, has an excellent appetite and plays half the day with Beatrice. She is [indecipherable] & [indecipherable] is [indecipherable] the daughter [indecipherable] lords it over her and pushing her if she does wrong & gettting her own way. We laugh at her.

My dear Nephew

I wrote you last month about the Deeds and release. I hear Mr. Gilfillan has called on Mr. Bradley often about them but they have not yet reached Melbourne. I wish you would urge him to send them down perhaps Mr. Bradley is the wrong Gentleman.

Shall we apply to Messrs. Stephen & Stephens, please let me know. I can get £1,000 on Freshfield by Mortgage and have been waiting nearly three months for these Deeds. The Deeds for the 758 acres are in Melbourne but we want those your dear Father had to make up the right amount of acreage, so do please hurry your Solicitor to send them to Vaughan Moule & Seddon of Chancery Lane, Melbourne.

Our wool was sold last friday - /18 3/4 eighteen pence three farthings per lb for the fleece wool, 1/3 for the lambs wool and ten pence for the rest. This is a low price, but I suppose it is fair, fat sheep are rising in price.

My dear Nephew

I have omitted answering your last as I am waiting to hear if the release is made out. I sent the Copy of the Will and other Papers up to Sydney to a Mr. Gilfillan and asked him to let Mr. Bradley have it so I hope it will be done by this time. Mr. Gilfillan is the gentleman [Crossed through - whose] who has been
