I think by going on steady it will soon clear its own way. I agree with you that I should be far more happy living on my Farm than working on a Station that I am never sure of, but my Farm can always be a happy home for us. I am sure if I keep the team going on ploughing in Twelve Months the Farm would all be broken up. I am sure it is far the best way to lay out a plan to work by and you know what you are doing. You mentioned in your letter dated 18th Feb if I could [indecipherable] the cultivation land of Clifton as Willie said he would not put so much in again, I do not think so much wheat

will be put in again yet the land at [word deleted] will have to be sown with lucern probably this season - of course there is plenty of land uncultivated in the cultivation area but if I break up any new land which I hope to do, I think my best plan will be to finish my own and get it all under cultivation. I was sorry I was away when your last letter reached Clifton, but as I did not get it until Thursday evening I could not answer it sooner. I am just going to see about getting a stables put up on the Farm as I must take care of the Horses during the winter, all these little things you must have to work a place well.

I hope as you say that by hard work Brooklyn as the Farm is called will be paying the best dividend in the district. I will be very glad if you can come up and see me and then we can talk better over matters. Since I received your last letter I have had a long talk with Willie and I think it best to keep the Farm and not go partners. I am very anxious to get on and build a cottage and make a comfortable home for Emmie I shall be very happy the day I can settle down at Brooklyn I shall hope to see you soon I think I have answered all questions With kind rememberances to all and love to Emmie Yours sincerely S.H.
