A very cold day; good sleighing; Robert Stabler
called before meeting; Joe dined at Phil's; William went
to Roger Brooke jr. in the afternoon; Charlie, Sarah and
Warwick Stabler here to tea; Father went to R. S. Bentleys
after tea. I got a letter from Mary Gardner.

2d.
Very cold. mercury 3 above zero. Father at Clifton to
supper; William at W. P. Millers after supper to a party.
No one here all day.

3d.
Another cold day; Father went to Rockville; Joe
and William to Stanmore after supper to a party; Lucy
and I quilting for cousin Henry Bentley. I got a letter
from Anne Ahrens. The men getting Ice this afternoon
