Cold and cloudy this morning. The men getting
Ice; they got Ice all day the 26th of last month.
Evening. Finished getting Ice. Lucy went to the Cottage
this afternoon. Father and mother to James Stones after
supper. Louis called on his way to the store. William
went to a party at Olney.

5th.
Father went over in Howard County; took mother to
Cherry Grove on his way; brought her and Lucy home in the
evening.

6th.
Henry Hallowell dined here. William and Lucy called
at Grove Hill in the afternoon; to Rush Roberts after tea
