12th.
A cloudy day: Funstan of Alexandria lectured
at the Lyceum; Joe, Lucy and William went, the subject
was the "Harmony of the Sciences."

13th.
I attended a Library meeting at W^m. H. Farquhars, in the
afternoon; Aunt Lizzie here in the afternoon helping to quilt;
Uncle Samuel here to tea; rained after night: Joe went to
the "Burnt Mill" for flour.

14th.
A sleety day; rained all day; nothing of any account
transpired: We finished the quilt.

15th.
A clear day; Oh how beautiful was every thing.
