Got it from Amos Hollan's @ $1.25, brought back a load of bone to Jim Bonds rain all day and terrible storm at night. Sunday 10th Went to meeting Edd Thomas came home with me, went to Edwd Thomas's to tea, 11th Monday Geo sick 4 days 12th John and I [nocking round?] 13th Finished hog lane fence 14th Some rain 15th Plowed part of garden pleanted few potatoes Sat Rained all day I worked in shop Geo bored posts, I went to S.E.Ellicotts to tea.

Sunday April 17^th 1864

Uncle Thomas and Debbie dined with us, I went to Henry Stables to tea.
