Ther. TUES. APRIL 4, 1899 Wind
Still very cold for the time
of year, the ground was frozen
and covered with white frost
almost like snow, but moderated
during the day but was
unpleasantly cold all day.
I went to Henderson's for the
papers. Edwd rode Willie's
bicycle home from "Fairfield"
before lunchtime. Afternoon
I went to the store and P.O.
and again after supper.
Ella Jackson (Nee Hood) sent
her son "Clarence" with a
note for advice for her daughter.

Ther. WED. APRIL 5th, 1899 Wind
Still cold for April weather
strong N.W. wind blowing from
the snow in the N. Western States.
I went to the mill & to Store &
P.O. before & afternoon. After
supper I went to the store and
to Fairall's office. This has
been a beautiful day except
for the cold wind, which made
it unpleasant out of doors.
Saml B Wetherald's mother
and aunt moved into the
Perry Leizear's house, recently
vacated by Mrs Hazen, they
having purchased it from old
Mrs Leizear.
