Ther. SUN. APRIL 2, 1899 Wind
Cold again today, there has
been snow in the western states
and we are feeling the effects
of it. The wind has been blowing
all day, which makes us feel it
all the more. Willie came before
dinner. I went to meeting.
Afternoon W took Fanny & baby
back to "Fairfield". I went
to Henderson's for papers &
after supper went to the toll house.

Ther. MON. APRIL 3rd, 1899. Wind
Ground frozen this morning
and it feels like winter. I went
to Fairall's Office taking with
me my book of original entery
which he compared with a bill
I sent by mail to Geo. Oldfield
at Babcock Mich, and which he
(Fairall) certified (upon its back) to
be correct to save sending an itemized
account, it went by the 2 o'clk
p.m. mail. After supper Edwd
went to "Mt Airy" to a meeting
at the "choiral class" intending
to go from there to "Fairfield" to
spend the night. I walked up to
Fairall's office again. It is
beautifully clear tonight, but
quite cold although the wind
has gone down.
