Wind SE & S.W. Cloudy & Clearing Ther. 20
FRI. JAN. 10th, 1896

Cloudy and threatning all day
until towards sunset, when it
cleared off. I went up to the
store & to the mill. Jno Ed
Hill worked at the wood pile
about 1/2 a day. He went up
to Henderson's & brought down
the balance of the small
sized coal (175 lbs).
Easton's people put a horse
in our stable for the day.

Wind S.E. & N.W. Cloudy & Clearing Ther. 22
SAT. JAN. 11th, 1896

Still threatning snow in the
morning, but cleared off in the
afternoon. Chas T. Hill brought
us 1/2 ton of nut coal which I
helped him put in the cellar.
Afternoon I rode over to pre-
scribe for his infant son, and
called at Eldon to see sister
Beulah and home via "Osceola".
Went up to the store towards
evening. Willie & Fanny came
before supper-time. Willie
took Edward down to Ashton
& to Sherwood before putting
his horse away for the night.
