Sat. Sept. 28th, 1895

Much cooler. Edwd came home
from "Fairfield" before breakfast.
I rode up to "Marden" to prescribe
for Margt G. T. Moore again, they
having telephoned for me.
I fixed a spring latch on the front
gate. Willie & Fanny came just
at supper time to spend the night.
After supper Willie & I walked
up to the store.

Ther. 65 Clear & Cloudy Wind Variable
Sunday 29th

I went to meeting, which was a
silent one. Willie & Fanny, Dora & Edwd
went to "Fairfield" & from there over to
"Treadelphia" & back to Fairfield to
supper. About 4.30 p.m. it came
on to blow a gale from N.W: it
seemed to pass over, but about dusk
it commenced raining steadily.
Dora & Edwd came home after dark
in the rain. I was called over to
"Central" to talk to Hallie Bentley
about cousin Hannah's foot which
has been very painful.

Mon. Sept. 30th, 1895

Quite cool this morning I made
a fire in the dining room. Was
called by telephone & drove down to
Bloomfield to see cousin Hannah
Chandlee, also went to Ashton.
Willie went with me, having come
from "Fairfield." He afterward drove
"Frank" to "Redland" to see about
a carpet & returned to dinner.
After which he walked to Fairfield
again. After supper Edwd went to
the Lyceum as door keep for a
lecture by "Miss Yates.'

Tuesday, Oct 1st

The first frost this morning
Edwd went to Sherwood & made fires
in the School rooms for the first time.
I recd & answered note from Mr. G. T
Moore. Afternoon H & I drove over
to "Fairfield" & made a call.
Willie & Fanny walked over and
took tea with us to spend the
night here.
