Millie's man "(Ned Dade") with the wagon
load of furniture & @ left here at 5 - 30 this
morning for Purcellville Loudoun Co. Va:
Edwd drove up to E Peirce with a load of flowers
to decorate the rooms. home to dinner. Afternoon
I took Harriet, Dora & Edwd in the "Surry"
and Willie went driving "Bell" to his buggy to
"Fairfield" to the wedding ofWillie & Fanny
which took place at 4 .o clock p.m.& passed
off very nicely. We came to supper
W. & F. coming with us intending to drive on as
far as Rockville, but it looked threatning &
W not being well they concluded to stay here
& go on tomorrow morning. "John Johnson
came over to see W & his new wife.
A heavy storm passed north of us after-dark

Ther. 63 Thursday, 16th N.W. Wind.

Willie suffered last night with threatened
"dysentery," I was up with him but
seemed better this morning & they started
from here at 6.o clk in good spirits.
Dora & Edwd drove to E. Peirce's & back
before dinner. I did not feel at all well and
slept several hours - After supper I went
up to the store & P.O. mailed letter to
Thos H Borden, N.Y. Edwd & Dora went
in next door & made a call in evening.

Ther. 67 Friday. AUG. 17,th 1894 SE Wind.

"Carrie" Hopkins was here & washed for H.
Edwd went with the Robison boys to gather
fox grapes.before dinner-. Afternoon Alice
Peirce called, also Mr Laird. Harriet &
I drove over to Riverside expecting to
take tea there, but found Sister Lizzie
quite sick and came home to supper, we
called at Eldon to leave a basket of grapes
Phil Robison had gathered for them.
I walked up to the store & P.O. after supper -
Edward went on horseback to a
dancing party at Olney Grange Hall.
We had a postal card from Fanny dated
from near "Hamilton" Va yesterday afternoon
at 5-30. o clk; they would reach
Lincoln before dark.

I drove up to "Marden" to make a call
before dinner.

Afternoon Edwd & Frank R drove over
to Riversisde in the "Surry" to take a bath &
bring sister Harriet back with them, Herbert
having arrived here just as they left, having
ridden his bicycle up from Laurel, leaving
[Phaluda?] at 8 o clk this a.m. A thunder gust
passed around South of us about the time
the boys returned from Riverside. I went
up to the store & P.O. was called in to see
Old. Mrs Oldfield.
