I drove over to Riverside taking
Sister H as far as "Eldon" I went on to
see Bro: Richard & called for her as
I came home. Afternoon Edwd took
Frank Robison to Riverside for a swim
in the river. Afterward, took Sister H
& Dora down to take tea at Mrs
S Ellicott's and went again after
them after supper, they did not get
home until nine o'clk. Mrs. Frank
Snowden & Mrs Arthur Stabler called
to see Sister H whilst they were gone.

Cloudy and Rain Ther. 65° Sunday12th 1894 Wind

Commenced raining before daylight
this morning a nice gentle soaking
rain that will be a great blessing to the
entire country as far as it extends
being the first (except showers) we have
have had had for weeks & weeks. I went
to meeting, there was no preaching, and
it was pleasant to have a "silent meeting"
of thanksgiving for the rain.

Afternoon Brother Chas: came in Bro:
Richard's "top buggy" and took Sister H
home with him to "Riverside".

Drizzling part of the day but not
much rain. I drove down to Ashton
Mrs. Robison sent her little girl with
me on an errand for her.

Afternoon Alice Peirce was here for
some "crockery" & @ for use at the
wedding.

Cloudy & Clearing
Ther. 68° Tuesday 14,th S.W.Wind.

Willie arrived from Purcellville Va
at 3 o'clk this morning driving C's "Bell"
to a buggy & bringing with him a colored
man ("Ned" Dade) driving a hired two
horse wagon. After breakfast Willie & Dora
drove "Frank" to Rockville to get Willie's
marriage License & @ home to dinner at
2 o clk after which he took Dora to E. Peirce's
in the buggy. Edwd going also to E. Peirces
in the wagon with the colored man to help
pack their things to take over to Va.
Sarah Stabler called to enquire for Sister H.
Edwd & the man with the wagon came home
to supper. Willie & Dora staying at E Peirce's
until after supper.
