I felt quite unwell that morning.
Edward took his aunt H. over to "Riverside"
and came immediately back for me to go
and prescribe for Lizzie. I went over &
staid until after dinner wen Ernest
Gill came back with me leaving Edwd to
come home later. Ernest Gill was going to
"College Green" to bring Nora Stabler home
driving one of Ed Gilpin's horses. Herbert
rode his bicycle to Riverside. It is
very warm to day. A big "camp meeting"
is in full blast at "Brighton" for colored
people & they are streaming there to day.
Mrs: Wm Canby & her four children came
about 4.o clk & remained until about 6. o clk
on account of a thunder storm which threatened to
come over us & did give us some showers & thunder
Edwd came home about dusk walking.

67° Ther. Monday. 20th N.E. Wind.

Threatning thunder-storm all last evening
up to late bedtime & during the night turned
to a settled rain which is greatly needed to
give the ground a good soaking. it cleared
off about 9. o clock & the sun came out hot.
I wrote to JH Borden enclosing the RR order he
had sent me. Lizzie Scott was here to see Dora
Mr. Colts children were here & I extracted
a tooth for "Arnold." "Turner" was here with
a note from Miss Alice Tyson. I sent her
medicine for "subacute rheumatism."
Afternoon Sophie & Alice Peirce were here.

Ther. 65 Tuesday, AUG. 21st 1894 N.W. Wind.

Two of Robt Stabler's daughters were
here for advice & medicine for their cook
("Lizzie Johnson). I drove over to "Riverside"
to see Sister Lizzie again, Edwd went with
me I called at Homewood & left him
there until I returned from Riverside.
Edwd P Thomas called whilst I was gone
to see me about our insurance policy.
Afternoon Edwd went to the Library in
place of Miss Mary Fowler. Lizzie Scott
was here to see Dora. Alcinda Hill was
here & "washed" for H. this forenoon.

Ther. 52° Wednesday, 22d N.W. Wind.

Quite cool this morning.
Afternoon Bro Chas brought Sister H
over & Herbert came on his bicycle soon
after. We all went to a game of Baseball
Sandy "Spring against Rockville"
the latter winning by a score of 18 to 9.
Roland Moore & wife & children were here
to consult me & I prescribed for them
on the "base ball" ground. After Supper
I took medicine for Roland up to the
P.O. Herbert took supper at "the Collage".
Edwd went to Ashton with Miss Mary
Fowler to some "entertainment" at the
Method dist church.
