I was about home all
day except going up to see
Mrs Emma King's little boy.
Several persons were here
to consult me. Afternoon
Charley took Uriah to Riverside
& they brought the dog
"Duke" home with them.
Willie drove "Fritz" over
to Muncaster's to say good
bye" to Luther who goes to
Va: to school tomorrow.
Quite a number of persons
called to say good bye to
Uriah & Harriet & Dora who
also expect to leave tomorrow
in the stage.

for Laurel & Philad^a
I walked up to Sullivan's
to see the little boy (C. King):
It rained all the forenoon
but tried to clear off about
4.o'clk p.m. Chas & Lizzie
Iddings & Mrs & Miss Pancoast
called to say good bye
