SEPTEMBER, TUESDAY 13th 1887.

I was called up early
this morning & drove over
to J Rodney Boswells and
attended his wife in confinement
leaving her another
fine boy. Went in next
door & prescribed for "Bessie"
Robison. Afternoon Bro Chas:
sent "Bob" over to borrow our
carriage to take Mrs & Miss
Pancoast out to meet the
stage tomorrow morning on
their way home. Willie & I
drove over to bid them "good
bye" called at Thos. Lea's on
way home. I went up to see
the little "King boy" and in
again to see Bessie Robison.
Amos Hill died this
morning about day light
Charley was in the Sandy S_
store all day for S. Wetherald.
In the evening we had
some music violin & piano
Charley & Edward playing the
latter & Willie the flute

Charley drove to Elton
in the "Road cart." xpecting
to return tonight. went in
next door to see "Bessie" again
she has "deptharetic" sore-
throat. Willie went over to
the School house to see old
Mr Grady about taking lessons
in book keeping. fter
dark I "scalded out" a nest
of bumblebees in the corner
of the stable, to the amusement
of all of the boys. t was so
dark that Charley did not
get home
