SEPTEMBER, WEDNESDAY 7th 1887.

Charley left after breakfast
for the "Agricultural Fair" at
Rockville, going with T. Snowden.
Willie went on the "bicycle." Uriah
& Harriet Kirk went to Woodburn
to dine & to Fair Hill to supper. I
loaning them "Fritz" & the buggy.
Henry Warn was here & had
a tooth extracted. I rode
the brown mare to Robt Blair's
& took a pair of W's shoes to
be mended. Eleanor Hoff
called & left news paper.
Afternoon Ernest & Minnie
came & remained until after
tea & after Uriah & H. returned

SEPTEMBER, THURSDAY 8th 1887.

Charley & I drove "Fritz"
& the brown mare to the carriage
to Rockville & the "Fair": we
dined with Mr & Mrs Canby
& Miss Fanny Rust & had a
very pleasant time. except
that we were too late getting
off for home & only arrived
after dark finding Frank
Snowden & wife & Rachael
and Mary Gilpin here.
The roads were exceedingly
dusty: the day being fine
there was a very large
turn out. to the fair. Willie
left the bicycle on the
Fair ground & came home
with C & I
