JUNE, SUNDAY 19th 1887
Soon after breakfast "Borden"
started for Elton. L ewellen
Stabler called to see that
there was no change for the
better in the little Jarrett
Lee boy. Charley got "Gus"
Stabler's buggy and after
dinner drove to Elton expecting
to take Borden from
there to the rail road tomorrow.
This has been
another very warm day
& having lost so much sleep
lately I feel very badly-
suffering from nervousness and
nausea: the hot weather
always prostrates me unless
I am fortunate enough
to sleep well which is not
often the case.
