Went to Kate Winfield's and Fulford
thence to office. Afternoon went to
Mrs. Johnson's (on Mark Miller's place)
and to office. P.S. Stabler called after
tea for advice for Mrs S
Went to store with Charley after supper

Clear Cloudy Sunday Oct 27
Charley and I went to Riverside. P.S Stablers
a Mrs [Ents?] where I set his dogs shoulder
which had been broken at neck of the
scapula. Charley and Dora took a ride on
horseback after dinner, going to Wall's X
Roads and home via Leawood Mills and
Riverside. Charley purchased an overcoat
for $5.00 form his aunt Lizzie.
Harry and Helen Lea took tea with us
Commenced raining shortly after
dark.

Clear. Windy. N.W.
Monday Oct 28th
Took Israel and drove to SJeff: Hopkin's
and Mrs Johnsons;. Afternoon sent to
P.S. Stabler's and got 1015 lbs of hay.
After tea some "darkey" came to teach
Charley to play on the guitar.

Clear Tuesday Oct 29th
Went to the office. Did some "tinkering"
at the stable. Went to office again
afternoon. Mr Winfield here for medicine
for his wife.
