Friday Oct 18th Rain
Commenced raining shortly after
midnight last night and continues this
morning steadily. Afternoon P.S Stabler
sent for me to go and prescribe for his wife
Frank Gilpin spent evening with Charley

Saturday Oct 19th Clear Windy
Went to P.S Stabler's and to Riverside for
a load of walnuts. Afternoon cousin
Hallie Chandler called, also Kate
Stabler and Mrs Knight.
Went again to see Mrs P.S Stabler after
tea. Got new Japanese medicine case
that Gilpin and Bentley purchased for me in
Balto:

Sunday Oct 20th
Beautiful autumn day. Charley and
I drove over to P.S Stabler's, to Riverside
and to Leawood Mills, afterwhich I drove
to Fulford (Willie with me) and dined
there in company with Bros Richard
and Chas. Afternoon Edward Henderson
called and had tooth extracted. Edward
Bentley called and left Charley's revolver
which they had repaired for him in Balto
Kate Stabler called. Also Bros Charles
and Richard and Lizzie. Dora and Charley
took a ride on horseback. Willie went
to spend the night with Ed: [Chalfant?]

Clear Monday Oct 21st
Went to P.S Stabler's Geo: Prigg
called for advice and medicine for his wife
afternoon went to Mrs Johnsons's
(Warwick Millers place)
