No. 1 Linzer Torte. 322
140 gr. butter, 140 gr. sugar
100 gr. almonds, 1 pinch of cinnamon
140 gr. flour, 1 " " minced cloves
1 egg & 2 yolks, 1/2 lemon grated.
Filling: Thick jam

Stir Butter until fluffy, [add] 1 egg and
yolks; (you can also [use] hard yolks
and pass through a sieve) [add] sugar and all the
spices. Stir for 1/2 hour until fluffy.
[Add] flour and scalded, peeled, grated
almonds, and chill the dough.
Roll out [the dough] to half-finger-width, (round)
coat thick with fine thick jam,
wheel-cut narrow strips from the dough remnants,
and decorate the cake crosswise with it.
From the last remainder [form] a
strip around the cake.
Keeps for a long time.
