No 2 can cherries
Cherry Juice, 1 Cup (add water)
2 tbs corn starch
3/4 c sugar
lbs lemon juice
[?] butter
Cook about 1 min until
Clear
425 degrees for 30 to 35 min.

Cherry Pie
1 can sour cherries
3 1/2 tbs. flour
1 tbs. lemon juice
3/4 c sugar
Pinch salt
1 tbs. butter
Mix sugar, flour & salt. Add
a little cherry juice. When
smooth, add rest of juice and
cook until thick, stir constantly
Add lemon juice & cherries.
Pour into crust. Dot with butter.
Cover. Bake 10 min at 450 degrees -
20 min at 400 degrees.

Mrs. Haluis Shoo Fly Pie
1 3/4 c flour
1/4 c lard
1/2 c sugar- (not too full if
gran)
1/2 tsp cream tartar (rather
full)

Filling
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 c sugar
good 1/2 c molassus
1 c warm water
very hot oven
450 degrees
Reduce to 375 degrees
