FRIDAY, DECEMBER 26, 1941 Mother & I washed. Mason Sisk and Basil ate dinner with us.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 27, 1941 We ironed and I make a cake. Mother made some boiled custard.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 28, 1941 I wanted to go to church today but Rex said he didn't feel like it so we didn't go. It was rather cold for Robert to go anyway. John & ALma came a while tonight & took supper with us.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 29, 1941 We killed 2 hogs today. Sis came and spent the day with us. Dock & John Marion ate dinner with us. Mother & I washed some today. Dock ground some sausage for us. William Ross came this afternoon & will spend the night with us.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 30, 1941 I have washed jars and helped Rex strain the lard. Mother ironed some. William Ross went home.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31, 1941 We washed some and I canned 2 gallons of sausages.
