SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 1941 We ironed some. Mother & I didn't go to town with Rex today as it looked to rainy. It rained hard this afternoon & got the roads so muddy that Rex truck hung up near Mr. Marks & he walked the rest of the way home. Listened to the radio tonight.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 1941 We wanted to go to church today but didn't get to as the roads were too muddy. We listened to the radio a good deal.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 1941 We washed & I fixed a dress for Mother this afternoon.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 1941 We ironed & I made Robert a gown this afternoon.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 1941 We washed & I started making Robert a gown. Rex went to Cousin Will Wilson's to gather corn today. We go supper tonight. Robert hasn't been well today & has had fever most of the day. Lawrence & John came tonight & the men went hunting.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 1941 Uncle Brack came today. Robert has felt bad all day he has a bad cold. Rex went to Owensbrough today to the tobacco sales. Mother & I ironed & I finished making Robert a gown.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 1941 We washed some & I sewed some this afternoon. Rex has been gathering corn at Cousin Will Wilson's today.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 1941 Stayed at home all day. Rex is gathering corn at Cousin Will Wilson's.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 1941 We stayed at home all day. I wanted to go see Alma this afternoon but as our truck wouldn't start without a lot of trouble we didn't go. Listened to the Radio some. Dr. Scott came a few minutes he thought we had a chestnut tee. We haven't though. It is a Beachnut.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 1, 1941 Uncle Brack went home today and Rex went to town. Mother & I washed I am nearly sick today. I am taking a bad cold.
