THURSDAY MARCH 4 It has rained today. Rex & Dock went tot touw each with a load of tabacco. Sis went to Jessis's today & is going to wash. I got dinner, have done the general house work, worked on my quilt a little. I got a letter from mother.

FRIDAY MARCH 5 Mrs. Merrill & Mrs. Ed Sisk came & helped quilt this afternoon. Sis & I ironed today & we quilted some. Sis & Mrs. Merrill put the quilt in this afternoon & we got a good deal of quilting done.

SATURDAY MARCH 6 I patched some & helped clean up the house. Cornell Eldridge cam this afternoon. We gave Linnard & Madelyn Sisk a shower tonight. There were a good many people here. Linnard & Jasper played music for us. We had a right good time & Linnard & Madelyn received a good many presents.

SUNDAY MARCH 7 Rex + I went to see mother & uncle Brack but Mother wasn't at home. She spent the day at Mr. Ashby's. Rex & I stopped at Mr. Ashby's a few minutes. We came home early. Emmett & Willie came this afternoon.

MONDAY MARCH 8 Mrs. Rigney, Mrs. Miles, Mrs. Vanada, Joe ann, Mr. & Mrs. Merrill spent the day with us. We got a good deal of quilting done.

TUESDAY MARCH 9 Sis & I quilted today. Clarance James at dinner with us. I got breakfast & dinner & Sis got supper & churned.

WEDNESDAY MARCH 10 Mr. & Mrs. Merrill & Mrs. Ashby came this afternoon & we finished the quilt. Mother called me today & said she called Dr. Busby & says Dad is better. I wrote a card to Rudell & wrote a letter to aunt Jannie. I read some tonight.

THURSDAY MARCH 11 Sis & I washed. I sewed one row on my flower garden quilt. Jim, Jessie, cousin Wiley & Little Gene & amelia came this afternoon. I got a letter from Rudell. I got one from Dr. Busby saying Dad is better. I wrote mother. I read some tonight. I wrote aunt Jannie also.

FRIDAY MARCH 12 Sis & I ironed this morning. I partly cleaned the car this afternoon & read some. I got breakfast & Sis got dinner.

SATURDAY MARCH 13 Sis went to town today. I got dinner. Rex went to town this afternoon and I went to Jim's. Lanna & Bobby were there also. It rained today & is sleeting tonight. Albert & Edna came tonight & will spend the night.

SUNDAY MARCH 14 I got breakfast. Albert & Edna went home this morning. Earle, Rex, John Marion & I played Rook this morning. Mary came this afternoon. Fletcher & Stella cam a little while also. It has been pretty cold today & snowed some.

MONDAY MARCH 15 I chuned, got dinner & worked on my flower garden quilt. Sis went to Mr. Crabtree. Mrs. Crabtree was buried today. I got supper. Cornell & Basil came tonight. Rex, Basil, Cornell & I played Rook. We played 5 games and Cornell & I won 3 of them.

TUESDAY MARCH 16 I got breakfast & worked on my flower garden quilt. I got a letter from Mother. Rex went to the island today.

WEDNESDAY MARCH 17 I wrote a card to Mother. I worked on my flower garden quilt today.

THURSDAY MARCH 18 Sis & I washed today. Mr. Slaton + Sis went to Loyd's this afternoon and I worked on my quilt some.

FRIDAY MARCH 19 Sis & I ironed this morning. I finished setting my flower garden quilt together & patched some. Sis went to town this afternoon.

SATURDAY MARCH 20 Sis went to town a little while this morning. Rex & I went to aunt Jessie's tonight & will spend the night. Sis & I put my flower garden quilt in the frames to quilt this afternoon.

SUNDAY MARCH 21 Rex & I spent the day at aunt Jessie & came home this afternoon. Loyd soent the day at aunt Jessie's also. Loyd, Stella & I went to Loyd's this afternoon and saw the furniture he has fixed. It sure looked nice.

MONDAY MARCH 22 Rex, Joseph & I went to Mother's today & Joseph & Rex & Uncle Brock worked on the garden fence. I got a letter from Dr. Busby today saying Dad is better. Sis taught school for Nora Lee today.

TUESDAY MARCH 23 I wrote a letter to Mother, aunt Jannie + Rudell. I washed my curtains & ironed them & cleaned up my room. Sis broiled a ham made two cakes and two pies.
