FRIDAY FEBRURARY 12 I washed my head took a bath and washed a few pieces today and ironed them. Ocie came this afternoon. Uncle Brock went to town today.
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 13 Mother & I went to town today & ate dinner at Aunt Ernie's. Rex, Jasper, Mr. Wiley Harpgood mother & I went to see Dad this afternoon. It rained today. Mother & I will spend the night at aunt Ernie's.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 14 Mother & I came home this morning. Mr. Ashby, Ocie & Amy Florance came this afternoon. It has been some colder today.
MONDAY FEBRUARY 15 I wrote a letter to Rudell and one to aunt Jannie. Mrs. Emma Whitledge came this afternoon. Today has been a pretty day.

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 16 It has snowed some today & the wind has been blowing & is cold. We haven't done anything but the general house work today. I wrote a letter to Rex.
WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 17 Uncle Brack went to town today. Mother & I went to Ocie's this afternoon & had a real good time. I played solitary tonight. Mother played some also.

THURSDAY FEBRUARY 18 Mother & I washed some today.
FRIDAY FEBRUARY 19 I ironed this morning & patched uncle Brock's pants this afternoon. Myrtle, Russell, Athella & Athella's little boy came this afternoon & I got some turnips. I played Solitary tonight. Mother played also.

SATURDAY FEBRUARY 20 Rex came tonight and will spend the night. He saw Curtis Kirkwood in town and he says Dad is better.
SUNDAY FEBRUARY 21 It rained last night & today. Rex & I ate early dinner & came to town & I went to Jessie's and Rex had the car fixed. We came home this afternoon.

MONDAY FEBRUARY 22 I got dinner. Joseph ate dinner with us. Sis has been working on my green gingham dress today. I started seting my flower garden quilt together and read some.
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 28 I got breakfast worked on my quilt and read some and have help do the general house work.

WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 24 Sis & I went to aunt Pattie's to the Missionary meeting today. I got a letter from Rudell today.
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 25 I have worked on my quilt got breakfast read some and helped do the general house work.

FRIDAY FEBRUARY 26 I got breakfast and helped do the general house work. Sis & Leona went with Mrs. Merrill to aunt Pattie's this afternoon and helped quilt.
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 27 Leona started for Detroit this morning. It has snowed today. Rex went to town this afternoon. I got breakfast and helped do the general house work. I haven't felt so well today. I got a letter from Mother & she got a letter from Hopkinsville saying they see but little change in Dad's condition.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 28 It has snowed. I got dinner. Earl Junior, Joseph, Rex & I played Rook. Rex & I won 3 games and Joe & June won 2. I read some tonight & wrote Rudell.
MONDAY MARCH 1 I cut out some quilt pieces for my flower garden quilt and sewed one row on the quilt and wrote Mother & aunt Jannie. I got breakfast. Jessie called this morning and said Curtis Kirkwood was in town today & says Dad is worse & is swollen badly & has been moved the hospital ward.

TUESDAY MARCH 2 I got breakfast. Rex & I went to town today. Mother and Uncle Brock were in town also. Mother & I ate dinner at Jessie's. Jim Hermon, mother & I went to Hopkinsville to see Dad. He is pretty sick but not quite as bad as I expected.
WEDNESDAY MARCH 3 I got dinner. Joseph ate dinner with us. Sis & I went to aunt Pattie's & helped quilt. Sis took Mr. Slaton to see cousin Herb this afternoon. We finished the quilt.
