SEPTEMBER 26

1931. Stayed at home all day and studied my lesson's some.

1932. I embroidered some today. It rained this morning. Mother & I went to see Ocie a little while this afternoon.

1933. Rex & I washed this morning. I pealed [peeled] pears and canned some tomatoes this afternoon.

1934. I got dinner & cleaned up the house this morning. I went to the Missionary meeting at Mrs. Ashby's this afternoon. I went with Stella as she came home from school to see Modest & Ruby. I am going to spend the night with them. They were at aunt Jessie's when I got there so I went up there a little while also.

1935. Rex, Fred Slaton & I went down to Mother's & Dad's today and Fred & Rex & Gradie Russell fixed part of the stable roof for Dad. Mother & I went to see Uncle Brack [Brock?] a little while this afternoon.

SEPTEMBER 27

1931. Rev Graves & Ada Holland spent the day with us today. Kathryn & Joe Maxwell came in the afternoon. Cosby came also.

1932. It rained today & I embroidered some and cut out some quilt pieces. Mrs. Conley came a little while this afternoon.

1933. I got dinner and ironed today. Sis ironed several pieces after she came home from school. Earl came a little while tonight. I wrote a letter to Mother tonight.

1934. I spent the night with Modest & Ruby and came home this morning as Stella went to school. I finished ironing, patched some, cleaned up the house & got dinner today. Earl came a while tonight.

1935. It had rained nearly all day. I have been nearly sick today & haven't done anything except the regular house work.
