SEPTEMBER 28

1931. Came to town this morning and went to school studied my lesson's this afternoon.

1932. We washed this morning and I embroidered some this afternoon. I wrote a letter to Alline Slaton tonight.

1933. I got dinner, made a cake & two pies this morning. I have patched some this afternoon. Basil Slaton ate dinner with us today.

1934. I got dinner, churned, cleaned up the house and made some pear preserves today. Mr. Dossett ate dinner with us. Sis ironed some after she came home from school.

1935. I sewed a little this morning & got dinner. I went over to Jim's this afternoon as Sis went to town. Amelia went to town with Sis.

SEPTEMBER 29

1931. Went to school today & got a letter from Cosby. I answered his letter tonight.

1932. I ironed this morning and Mother & I quilted some this afternoon. I swept the back yard late this afternoon.

1933. I cleaned up the house & got dinner this morning. Buck James ate dinner with us. I have sewed some this afternoon.

1934. I cleaned up the house, made a cake & got dinner this morning. It has rained today. Rex & I went to see Mrs. Mann & Ernest. A Mrs. Winstead was there also. We went to see Mother & Dad late this afternoon & will spend the night with them.

1935. Sis went to Sunday School but I didn't go. I got dinner. Sis & I went over to Aunt Jessie's this afternoon. Joseph came a little while this afternoon.
