JANUARY 6

1931. Went to school & went
down in town this afternoon.
Mrs. Seats came tonight. Ernest
& myself played lotto.

1932. Went to school today, and
went to see Alline Slaton this
afternoon, and we studied Physics
studied some tonight.

1933. I went to town this morning
& had two teeth fixed. I went to
see Mrs. Thomas a little while this
afternoon. Dad came after me & I came
home late this afternoon.

1934. I got breakfast, dinner,
and cleaned up the house and
pressed two dresses. Mr. Slaton,
Rex and I played Rummy tonight.

1935. I got breakfast, dinner, cleaned
up the house. Mr. Ed. Sisk, Fletcher,
Basil, and Buck came this afternoon.
Rex, Buck, Basil and I played
Rook. Sis came home this afternoon.
My cold is a little
better today.

JANUARY 7

1931. Went to school today.
Studied for two tests to-
night & finished getting up
my Bible note book.

1932. Went to school today,
& studied some tonight.
Mrs. Ligon is seriously
ill today.

1933. I cleaned up the house this morning &
got a letter from Rex. Rex came
this afternoon, he failed to start
the car so he had to go after John Marion to start it for him.

1934. I got Breakfast, dinner and
cleaned up the house a little.
John Marion came this afternoon.
John Marion, Dock, Rex and I played Rook this afternoon.
Rex & I played Rummy tonight.

1935. Kate washed for us today.
I cleaned up the
house, got dinner and
wrote a letter to Mother.
It has rained some today.
I ironed a few pieces this afternoon.
My cold isn't any
better.
