To Doctor Van Waters on her Anniversary Day,

I am very proud as an american citizen and student, to know the great Dr Miriam Van Waters, we are all proud of her and for all the things, she has done for us. She has worked through the years, to make things easier for us, and I know we all appreciate it Especially the day work and indenture she is fighting for now. I am very happy to belong to the literary group for which you have had for quite a while. It is wonderful to read about different books to us, it helps us to gain a better knowledge of what other people are doing in other countries I surely appreciate it when I belong

to something like that, I do hope with all my heart that you will continue to be Superintendent. There is one thing I will always remember that is the smile on your face as you go about your duties I shall remember it when I do leave here, no matter what troubles you have had, that smile has always been there. I sincerely wish you the best of luck, good health, good wishes in your eighteenth year and in the years to come may God bless you and keep you

Sincerely Ruth White

Roses to: The little lady with the pleasing face, The little lady who is full of grace, Seems you've strayed from home so far, For you should be where Angels are.

To Dr. Mariam Van Waters On your 18th anniversary

The danger of the daylight and dark. Beats on our hearts, deliverate and clear.

But silent wings are hovering around us.

What peril shall we fear?

Teach usto offer, understanding spirits.

A worship such as yours, that shall not cease.

And let us learn as humble little children.

To walk with God in his will he's our peace

Sincerly Louise Blanchard
