To the Honorable Mayor & Board of Alderman, of the City of Fort Worth, Texas.
Gentlemen.
Your petitioner represents to the Honorable Body that he is a citizen of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, and resides in 7th Ward. He further states that he is informed that in the near future a member of the present board of sanitary officers of said city is going to resign, and your petitioner asks that this petition be considered as his application to be appointed a member of said board.
I respectfully refer you to Max Bender, a member of the present board. E.H.Buie, W. H. Grove, and to the papers in possession of petitioner, showing at the expiration of petitioner's inlistment in the United States Army for three years' service in the Philippine Islands, he was honorably discharged with character "excellent."
