The Honorable Mayor and City Council:
We would respectfully state that we have made an actual measurement of the land mentioned in the annexed petition of A. G. Brooke and find that he owes the amount of land shown in Exhibit "E" attached thereto. And we further find from an examination of the tax books, plats and receipts that Mr. Brooke had already paid the taxes paid for him by his Agent, J. Y. Cummings, as shown by exhibit "F" attached to said petition. In view of these facts we respectfully recommend that the amount of $34.10 asked for in Mr. Brooke's petition be allowed him.
