Gentlemen=
I respectfully ask your Hon Body to give a four inch fire protection [matter?] main to the curb line in front of the Theatre I am erecting on Jennings Ave; and respectfully ask permiession to connect with same for the purpose of affording the Public protection against fire in every possible way. This request is made at the suggestion of Hon W. E. Bideker, Fire Chief and although this protection to the public will cost me a considerable sum of money I am willing to make it provided the city will giev the Main to curb line.

Small Pox Agreement.
On this day came on to be considered the matter of the treatment and care of Small pox patients at the pest house, and after a full discussion of the same with representatives of the city of Fort Worth and the city of North Fort Worth, it was agreed by this court and the representatives of said Cities, and ordered by this court, as follows:
1st. The city of Fort Worth is to furnish the physician, to-wit; the City Physician, to attend all Small Pox Cases, whether originating in the City of Fort Worth or in some other Part of the county; provided, they are brought to the pest house.
2nd: The City of Fort Worth to furnish inspectors and Sanitary Policemen for the detection of small pox in said City and to guard infected premises when necessary.
3rd. The City of Fort Worth to remove patients to the pest house.
4th. The City of Fort Worth to vacinate all persons offering themselves for that purpose.
5th. The City of Fort Worth to purchase fumigating materials and fumigate all infected places within said city.
6th. The City of Fort Worth to furnish all medicines for city patients and all patients confined in the pest house.
7th. If any city patients die whose families are not able to bury them the City of Fort Worth to attend to and bury them at the cost of the City.
8th. The City of Fort Worth to accept all transient people as City Patients unless at the time they break out with the small pox they are located in Tarrant County, out-side of the corpor ate limits of the City of Fort Worth.
9th. The City of Fort Worth to pay for all physicians,medicines, food, fuel and guards, for the patients treated as City patients or quarantined outside of the pest house.
10th. The County of Tarrant to to take charge of the pest house and keep the premises in order and provide the necessary guards, nurses and other attendants and all provision,fuel and water.
