Gentlemen:-
The undersigned, who were friends and admirers of the late Colonel John Peter Smith, in his life time propose the erection of a monument to commemorate his virtues as a man,his public spirit as a citizen and to perpetuate his memory.
They respectfully request permission of the City to erect said monument on the Triangle bounded by Jennings Avenue, Throckmorton St., and Jackson St.

Dear Sir:-
Complying with the provisions of the Terrell Election Law, we hereby certify that at a primary convention, held in the city of Fort Worth, Texas, at the County Court House, held by the Citizens Party on the 13th day of March A. D. 1905, the following were duly and legally nominated as the Citizens Party nominee for the office of City Marshal, for the City of Fort Worth, Texas, to be voted for at the regular election, to be held on the first Tuesday in April A. D. 1905, the same being the 4th day of April A. D. 1905: For City Marshal, Andrew Campbell, Jr.
We further certify that every participant in said convention had paid his State, County and City poll tax for the year 1904, before the first day of February 1905.
We therefore request that his name be placed on the official ballot as the Citizens Party nominee for the office named.
