To the Honorable City Council of Fort Worth:

The undersigned, Mrs. Janie LaCava, is the owner of Lot One, Block Three of Moodie's Subdivision of Ltos Twenty-two and Twenty-three of the Wm. Welch Survey in the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. That there is now situated on the Northeast corner of said lot a one story frame store room, and respectfully represents:

That your petitioner desires to remove said store room to the rear end of said lot and to erect instead thereof a larger store room on the cite now occupied by the old one.

That the old store room is occupied and used as a drug store. That in order to not interrupt the business of said drug store it is desired, pending the erection of the new improvements, to remove said old store room North and into the street as far as necessary, so that the business can be continued, pending the construction of the new store.

Your petitioner, therefore, respectfully requests permission of the City Council to remove said old store room far enough into the street to permit the erection of the new store room on the old cite.

Your petitioner agrees that as soon as the new store room is completed she will remove the old store room from the street.

Your petitioner desires to make said improvements at once and respectfully requests that you act upon this petition immediately.

The Directors of the Fort Worth Benevolent Home would respectfully ask that you grant an allowance of $150.00 to be paid at once, as the necessities at the present time are so very great.
