Forth Worth, Texas, February 15, 1904.

We, the undersigned citizens, owning property on Bryan Avenue between Oleander Street and Morphy Street, hereby agree to pay the amount set opposite our names to L. J. Hawkins, on the condition tha tafter said street shall have been properly graded by the City of Fort Worth, that he will place thereon, gravel (of a quality to be approved by the City Engineer of Fort Worth) to the debth of nine inches in the center of said Street and three inches on the outer edges of said Street, making an average of six inchs debth. Said roadbed so graveled to be thirty feet wide. The above sums we promise to pay, when said gravel has been so placed upon said street. The said L. J. Hawkins shall pay for having said gravel properly rolled. The sums so paid is at the rate of twenty seven and one half (27-1/2) cents per front foot, making $13.75 for fifty foot front. All questions as to properly grading and graveling and quality of gravel to be decided by the City Engineer.
