Take oyle & fellit full of Sant John wort & set it in
day straine it out in to a frish viol t e oyle looke red all over
this must be made when e herbe is new blown it is good for green

The oyle Charity
Take wormewood red Sage rosemary commomill Lavander with
e broad leaves of every one a like chop them small & infuse them in to
oyle of olives one mounth stor it once in two sayes then boyle & n
straine them at e mounth end & put new herbs to it with e herbs
to it with Charity or valerian boyl them with a softe
fier so t thay may but wamble straine it a gane & let it stand
2 or 3 dayes then boyl it a gane e 3 time t wil take out e mather
of e herbs then it wil be very clere & of a perfecte green culer
e best time to make it in is mid may a ply it thus for a bruis
inwardly or outwardly drinke 3 or 4 dropts of it in a lettle drouft
To make e oyle of Gladness
Take of wormwood bay leaves red sage rue
plantony leaves & Featherfoy of all an equall quntity
& of Neats foot oyle as much as wil make it as thick as you can
wel Stir it then put it into a wide mouth Glase bottle &
let it stand in e sun e three hottest mounth
in e Summer keeping of stird once in three days
e herbs must be gathered in may & chopped very
small & e bottle must be close stoped then put in
a small quantity of neates foot oyle then boyl it
til you find e herbs begin to be crispe then
strain it out in to a pot or glas & stop it close
