The oyle Charity

Take wormewood red Sage rosemary commomill Lavander with
the broad leaves of every one a like chop them small & infuse them in to
oyle of olives one mounth stor it once in two sayes then then boyle &
straine them at the mounth end & put new herbs to it with the herbs
to it with Charity or valerian boyl them with a softe
fier so that thay may but wamble straine it a gane & let it stand
2 or 3 dayes then boyl it a gane the 3 time that wil take out the mather
of the herbs then it wil be very clere & of a perfecte green culer
the best time to make it in is mid may a ply it thus for a bruis
inwardly or outwardly drinke 3 or 4 dropts of it in a lettle drouft
of posit drinke anoint the place bruesed or pained if it be a wound
stufe it with lint diped in the oyle it wil eate out dead & proud flesh
it cures any wound it innes & scaitica or any ache or bruis whatsover

For an inward Bruise

Take a handfull of betony & boyl it in a quart of beare a
quartter of an houer then drink a good druft of it if there fie
any burised bood blood it wil work it down downward

To Purge an Impostum downward

Take a handfull of green wormewood & bures it put in to a
druft of good beare & drinke it it wil breake it & ceryry it a way

To make the black Salve

Take half a pound of yellow wax a pint of Silet oyle set it
one the fier & let it Seeth & scum it clear then take it from the fier
& take half a pound of White Leade & put to it then set it on the
fier & let it seeth at lest half an hour scumin it as it seethes then
take half an ounce of campher betten small & put into it let
it seeth til it be black when it is a noude make it into roules
& for sares or aches spread it uppon leather

To make the oyle of Gladness
