Nov. 10/09. Minutes of Club Council.
The regular meeting of the Club Council
was held at the residence of Mrs. Shackleford
on the morning of Nov. 10th/09.
Mrs. Cay presiding
Mesdames Cay, Shackleford, Gamble, Felkel
Dawkins, Lewis and Levy answered the roll
call.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
No report from Treasurer.
Standing Com. Mrs. Felkel reported $29 added to Lyceum fund.
Mrs. Dawkins reported that a colored man
would keep Wayne [?] ckeab for $5. a
year and the use of the fertilizer there in.
Mrs. Dawkins also reported [struck through] informed the
Council that the City would be willing to
[repare?] the Fountain to a [pinker?] place
and repair it. Moved by Mrs. Shackleford
and seconded that the City be allowed to
repair the Fountain and move it to a
suitable place on Wayne Square and that
we accept the proposition of the colored
man to clean the square for $5. a year
and the use of the fertilizer.
Discussion about paying the fare of
delegates to the convention at Palalka
resolved that in view of the present con-
dition of the treasury, the club will not
be able to pay expenses of delegates to
convention. The Secretary is requested to
notify the delegates
Moved by Mrs. Felkel & seconded that the Secretary
purchase a new book for minutes of club work
No further business moved or seconded carried
to [adjinue?] to meet second Wednesday
in December at Mrs. Shacklefords.
