Remark on bord [BOARD] Saturday April 5th 1834 The first part of thes[E] 24 hours we have a fresh wind from the South. At 10 ship Beaver came to anchor of Hudson, 250 barrels of oil. Hands on shore after water. At 10 AM tok [TOOK] a raft of cask[S] on shore. Nothing more worth of remark.

Remark on bord [BOARD] Sunday April 6th 1834 The first part of thes[E] 24 fresh from the South. Hands engaged at corking the ship and taking car [CARE] of vegitables [VEGETABLES]. Latter part fresh wind. Gave the ship more chains which maid [MADE] 60 fathoms. Nothing more worth of remark.

Remark on bord [BOARD] Monday April 7th 1834 The first part of thes[E] 24 hours calm. Tod [TOWED?] our raft of water of 11 hgheads [HOGHEADS]. Latter hove up our anchor and cared out our cage[?] anchor and [???] the ship further of [OFF] shore. Hands imployed [EMPLOYED] in panting [PAINTING]. Nothing more worth of remark.

Remark on bord [BOARD] Tuesday April 18th The firs[T] part of this day fine and pleasant. Egged [ENGAGED] at painting the ship and corking. Arived [ARRIVED] ship Corrinthian [CORINTHIAN] of Bristol, 15 months out, 800 bbls [BARRELS]. Later part arived [ARRIVED] ship Timolian [TIMOLEON] sixteen months out, 1250 bls [BARRELS] of New Bedford, Likuis[?]; the Stonington of New Bedford with 30 bbarels [BARRELS] oil; the Rodman of NB [NEW BEDFORD], 10 months out, 450 bbls [BARRELS]; D[?] Paciffic [PACIFIC] of NB [NEW BEDFORD], 1050, 20 months out. Nothing more worth of remark.

Engaged at geting [GETTING] off yams and potatoes & cabbage & hogs and goats. On[E] third of the crew on shore on liberty.

Remarks on bord [BOARD] Thursday April 10th The first part of thes[E] 24 hours we have fine weather. Hands imployed [EMPLOYED] [...] the ship and geting [GETTING] off vegitables [VEGETABLES]. Had one man run away from the [....]. His name is Euard L Jenson.

Arived [ARRIVED] ship Arabellar [ARABELLA], Pearsons, 200 bbls [BARRELS]. Do [DITTO = ARRIVED SHIP] Thomas Williams of Stonington, 200 bbls [BARRELS] oil.

Got on bord [BOARD] 2 bbls [BARRELS] of Irish potatoes & on[E] goat. Some hands engaged at painting the ship an[D] others on shore trading with the natives for vegitables [VEGETABLES] with oil.
