[page torn] are among other things they said that it would have been well for the counttry if he had never been seen in it and they both declared that their Horses should go upon the Fell and do nothing before they would work for him again.

Dame Betty Raine of Mickleton says that her Son Jonathan Raine was born near the end of July 1772 and Peggy the second Daugh -ter of Thomas Raine was born on or about the 3d of August in the same year 1772
