46 Columbia Aug 7th 1893 The Town Council met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor C P Hutchinson presiding, the following Councilmen present, Voland, Willacy, Bond & Schade. The minutes of the last meeting read and on motion approved. ThePark committee report that they requet Mr Edminston tomeet with the council and talk onthe Park question. The superintendent on Water Works reports that he would be through with the putting down the pipe this week. The oath of office of Joshua Sullivan as councilman read and on motion placed in file. The report of the Engineer onthe number of yards of dirt moved on Columbus St during the month of July read and on motion accepted and the warrants ordered issued to the amount of $567.66 The sum being 70% of the Total no of yards moved in July. 54 Columbia Sept 11th 1893 Town Council met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor C P Hutchinson presiding, the following Councilmen present, Voland,Willacy & Sullivan The minutes of the last meeting read and on motion approved. The assessment Roll for the grading of Angeline St presented and on motion the same was accepted by the council and the clerk instructed to post assessments notices The bids for the bulk heading of Angeline St opened the bid of R Palmer being the lowest the same was accepted and the Attorney instructed to draw a contract to comply with the same. The Bond and contract of F E Scott presented and signed and on motion the same now accepted.
