Enclosed please find a plan of the unoccupied space in rear of lots #458 & #486 W. Willow Ave. Mt. Auburn.

The lots (A), (B) &c. are now staked out.

Please stake out (X), something like the [check?] lines, without disturbing any stakes new in the ground, making as good a shaped lot as possible, with the proper spaces around it, so that a customer can take his choice of (X) and (A). This lot is [?] for Wm Dexter Esq Boston

Intervening space: Sec'y. authorized to pass deeds of Lots contracted to be sold without.

deliver deeds of Lots numbered 4333 and 4334, on Spruce Avenue, contracted to be sold without intervening space, as shown on the Report of the Superintendent for . Also to prepare and deliver deeds of Lots numbered 4335 and 4336, Perella Path, contracted to be sold as above as shown on Superintendent's Report of even date –

Lot # 4341 Perp. care of soil. Comn from Supt ref. to Com. on Lots.

The same gentleman also presented a communication from the Superintendent dated with reference to placing Lot #4341, Halcyon Avenue under the perpetual care of the corporation as to the turf and grass.

Voted, – that the above communication be referred to the Committee on Lots, with powers {See file of Supt's. Reports for p. c. with G.}

Cont. for perp. rep. with G. of Lots #1537 & #1380

The Secretary having stated that the chairman of the Committee on Lots had instructed him to present for the concurrence of the Board, contracts for the perpetual repair with guaranty of Lot No 1537, Willow Av., owned by Charles O. Whitmore, for the sum of $550.– and of Lot No 1380 Spruce Avenue, late of *Samuel P. Allen, deceased for the sum of $1000.– it was

Voted, – that the above contracts be concurred in on the part of this Board.

Upon the petitions of the parties in interest, representatives were designated for Lots as follows. viz: –

458 Margaret G. Winslow of Everett, daughter of George Winslow deceased proprietor of Lot numbered Four hundred & fifty-eight.

Lightning rods _ subject tabled _

A communication from Mr J. Galbraith proposing to put lightning conductors upon the Superintendent's house, and the farm buildings, at certain prices named by him, was read, and the same was laid upon the table.

Lot 458

Upon the petition of the daughters and heirs at law of George Winslow late proprietor of lot no. 458, Elizabeth Winslow^of South Malden, widow of said George, was designated to represent said lot.

The meeting was then adjourned. Attest Austin J. Coolidge Secretary.

The regular meeting of the Trustees was held at the usual place on _

There were present Messrs Andrews, Cheever, Gould, Nazro and Sleeper.

Chairman pro tem.

The President being absent.

Voted, that Mr Gould be requested to occupy the chair.

The record of the last meeting was read.

Cambridge Tax Bill referred to Messrs Curtis & Bangs _

Mr Bond, the Treasurer, stated that he had received from the City of Cambridge a tax bill upon the Superintendent's house for the year 1857, and asked advice of the Trustees, it being the first he had received thereupon.

Voted that it be referred to Messrs Curtis and Bangs.
