1 Mr. Steven Dexter Son of Mr. Steven Dexter of Claremont and Mrs. Phebe his wife who died July 25^th, 1798 in the 17^th year of his age

2 Here lie y^e remains of Mr. Levi Washburn of New Braintee late a Member of y^e school in this Place who died by a short & Violent Disease aged 18 years - 5 Months

Here youth & beauty lose their grace in this recluse & gloomy place Till y^e Angelic trumpet sound To wake this saint from underground

3 Note; The face of this old slate stone has flaked and the inscription is almost gone.

This is probably Dr. John Crane's stone d.1786

Entered in Book 1 as interred in this lot is an infant. There is no stone but there is evidence of a child's grave between the stones of Steven Dexter and Levi Washburn.

There is evidence also of 2 graves south of stone 3 in this lot.

Dora E. Whitcomb Died Nov. 21, 1890, ae. 18 years.

There is no stone for her.
