RECTO:

The annual meeting of the Dartmouth Cemetery Association was held at the office of Frederic Chase Sat. Apr. 19. 3 P.M. 1884

Pres. Samuel W. Cobb in the chair.

The following Officers were elected for the year ensuing.

The Treasurers report was read and accepted.

It was voted that the Directors lay out in lots & fix the price of said lots, the land recently purchased on the east side of the old part. So called.

VERSO: It was also left with the Directors to try and arrange with Luman Boutwell & secure a Carriage road from the new road to the Cemetery. using the six feet we now have a half of said road. The subject of enlarging the Dowl Door was also left with Directors.

Voted to adjourn. Hanover, N.H. L.B. Downing Apr. 19 1884 Sect.

RECTO: The annual meeting of the Dartmouth Cemetery Assocition was held at the Office of Frederic Chase Apr. 25 1885. at 3 P.M. The Pres. being absent Vice Pres. S. P. Leeds occupied the chair.

The following Officers were elected for the year ensuing.

The Treaurers report was read and accepted. The Treas. suggested the desirability of increasing our permanent fund.

& putting our fund beyond the chances of any possible danger of loss.

The whole problem of finance, the increase of the permanent fund, and its investment in some [measure] to insure its most perfect safety, was committed to the Treasurer & Frederic Chase. Voted to accept the Donation of Dr. A. H. Crosby, of $100. One Hundred Dollars, the income not used in caring for the lot to be added to the funds of the Cemetery Association. Voted that Jason Dudley be requested to put up a fence across the Cemetery lane, at Main St. by Dr. Sandborn's, to remain through Commencement week to prevent people from hitching horses in the lane or Cemetery. Consulting with abutters before doing it said fence to be one that can be put up yearly. Voted to adjourn. L. B. Downing. Sect.

Hanover N.H. Apr. 17, 1886 The annual meeting of the Dartmouth Cemetery Association was held this day in the Office of Frederic Chase Esq. The president and vice president and secretary not being present the meeting was called to order by the treasurer E. R. Ruggles. H. E. Parker was elected temporary president and F. A. Sherman temporary secretary. The report of the last annual meeting was read aloud and was followed by reports from the treasurer and superintendent both of which were accepted. The following officers were chosen for the ensuing year.
